Progressive lenses (no line): A jack of all trades
- A gradual change in lens power from top to bottom:
- Top part: Distance vision (e.g., driving, walking)
- Middle zone: Intermediate vision (e.g., computer work, dashboard)
- Bottom part: Near vision (e.g., reading, phone)
- There are no sharp transitions or visible lines, so the shift between zones is seamless.
Computer Multifocal/Home and Office Lens
- Designed for those on the computer for many hours at a time with multiple monitors that sit at eye level. Progressives are often not sutiable for prolonged computer work due to the monitor being at eye level. The Home and Office lens solves that by putting the computer vision front and center while still offering improved reading.
- Top part: Intermediate vision (e.g., computer work)
- Bottom part: Near vision (e.g., reading, phone, paperwork)
- Relieves the need to tilt your chin up to see the computer with progressives
Bifocals/Trifocals
- Simple and easy to get used to with distances seperated by a line
- Effective at distance, intermediate(trifocal), and near
Single Vision
- Can be made to fit any required distance of vision. Some may need more than one pair for different tasks.
Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating/Anti-Glare
- Reduces reflections on lenses, improves clarity and contrast, reduces eye strain especially with screens or night driving
Scratch-Resistant Coating
- Protects lenses from minor abrasions, extends the life of the lenses and helps maintain clear vision longer.
- Note: nothing is scratch proof
UV Protection Coating
- Blocks harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, protects eyes from sun-related damage, can help slow cataract formation, and offer protection against macular degeneration
Blue Light Filtering Coating
- Filters high-energy visible (HEV) blue light from screens, reduces digital eye strain, and may improve sleep quality.
- Useful for people who spend long hours on digital devices
Photochromic Lenses (Transition Lenses)
- A lens treatment that automatically darkens in sunlight and clear indoors, removing the need to switch from glasses to sunglasses, while offering UV protectio
Polarized Lenses (for sunglasses)
- Reduces glare from reflective surfaces like water or roads while sharpening vision with better contrast outdoors
- Great for driving, fishing, skiing, etc.
