Pamela J. Blodgett, OD
Pamela J. Blodgett, OD is a native of Massachusetts with an undergraduate degree from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, following with a degree in optometry from the New England College of Optometry. She did residency training at the West Roxbury/Brockton Veterans Administration Hospitals. She sought out private practice in Rhode Island, enticed by the advantageous scope of optometric laws for practice. She was also lured by the proximity of the vast Rhode Island coastline and beautiful beaches, as it would seem to be an ideal place to raise a family. She originally worked in a three-OD private practice for five years, and then joined Dr. Belhumeur at the Toll Gate location. She is currently Vice President of Toll Gate Vision and practices full-time with Dr. Belhumeur and Dr. DePaola. She is a member of The American Optometric Association (AOA) and The Rhode Island Optometric Association (RIOA), of which she is past president. She has served as a specialty advisory committee member of Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI. She resides in North Kingstown with her husband Paul, her son and daughter, and their dog.
Jeffrey G. DePaola, OD

Jeffrey G. DePaola is a native of North Haven, Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Central Connecticut State University, followed by his degree in optometry from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. He graduated with honors and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, an international optometry honor society, for all four years of his optometric training. He is a member of The American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Rhode Island Optometric Association (RIOA).
He resides in western Coventry with his wife, daughter and two dogs enjoying time outdoors hiking and fishing as well as wood working. |

Comprehensive Vision and Eye Health Examinations
Regular dilated eye exams are an invaluable tool in maintaining healthy eyes by detecting and preventing disease progression. We take a preventative approach to eye care and work with your child's primary care physician to help keep their eyes healthy. It is important that all of our pediatric patients have healthy and efficient visual systems at a young age so they can thrive in school.

For those patients needing glasses or contact lenses, we offer a complete optical department. We carry a vast selection of high fashion eyewear and designer frames to meet everyones needs and styles. Have a frame you want to use? No problem, we can help update them with new lenses!
Contact Lens Exams and Fittings
Thanks to the advances in optical technology, almost everyone is a candidate for contact lens use. This includes patients with astigmatism and also those who prefer multifocal lenses. At our office, we offer a comprehensive array of contact lenses to suit each individual patient's needs. We offer the latest technology in daily disposables, extended wear soft lenses to gas permeable contact lenses.
